Sibongile holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree in Insurance and Risk Management, as well as a distinction
in the Certicate of Prociency in short-term insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ). Currently, she
is pursuing an Executive Master's Degree in Business Administration at Midlands State University. With over 10 years of ex-
perience in the insurance industry, Sibongile has showcased her expertise and knowledge in short-term insurance and man-
agement. Her professional journey began at Momentum Insurance Brokers, where she served as an Account Executive.
She earned a promotion to Operations Manager, a position she held for 5 years. Subsequently, she transitioned to
CBZ Risk Advisory Services, undertaking the role of Acting Relationship Manager for Employee Benets. Sibongile
later joined Champions Holdings as the Principal Ocer & Managing Director for BlueFin Risk Solutions before assuming
the position of Principal Ocer and Managing Director at Champions Insurance.

Tawanda is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Zimbabwe and holder of a BCompt Accounting
Science degree with the University of South Africa. He has over 8 years audit work experience of companies in various
industries including nancial institutions, mining, manufacturing, agriculture, retail, insurance and NGOs under BDO
Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants. He joined Champions Holdings Group as an Internal Auditor in 2014. Tawanda
became the Group Accountant in 2015, and rose through the ranks to the Finance Manager position. He occupied
the post at Champions Holdings for 5 years and left to Join Tsapo Group of companies as the General Manager in
2019 where he headed FAW Zimbabwe t/a Massbreed and CTrack Zimbabwe, specialising in selling of trucks, buses
and tracking business. The main roles included but not limited to developing and implementing company strategies.
He was also involved in planning, motivating and coordinating Massbreed and CTrack departments through leadership
and solid business practices. Tawanda rejoined Champions Insurance in June 2021 as Head of Finance and Corporate
services. He is currently responsible for nancial management, credit management and secretarial work for the company.
He is a holder of COP in short-term insurance. Currently studying for a Masters degree in Business Administration

Simba is a holder of various qualifications which include Master of Science in
Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology, Diploma and a
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management both from the Institute of Marketing
Management (IMM,SA). He also holds various qualifications in customer care,
customer service excellence and customer relationship management.
Having started his career in the early 90s, he has been involved with different
companies in various sectors having occupied positions in junior management,
middle level management and executive management. Some of the roles he
occupied are Head of Marketing and Communications for Telone, Divisional Executive
Marketing for MBCA bank, Head of Marketing for Tristar Insurance Company,
Commercial Director for Sakunda and Managing Executive at Willred Minerals and
Energy a position he held before joining Champions Insurance.

Rutendo is a professional Accountant with a wealth of experience in the financial services and insurance technology. Rutendo
began her career at Ecocash Holdings, starting with the mobile financial services in 2017 and later specialized in short term
insurance in 2018. Early 2022, Rutendo joined Champions Insurance as a financial management accountant before being alleviated to Chief Finance Officer . She holds a
Bachelor of Accounting Degree among other academic qualifications and is an aspiring Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

She has worked in various capacities for short-term insurance companies, demonstrating her expertise in claims management, customer services, relationship management, communications, and planning. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Commerce Insurance and Risk Management Honours Degree from Midlands State University. She has also obtained professional qualifications including Associateship with the Insurance Institute of South Africa, a Certificate of Proficiency, and a Diploma in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe, as well as a National Certificate in Marketing from HEXCO. Currently, Maureen is pursuing an Executive Masters in Business Administration at Midlands State University (MSU). Her commitment to further education showcases her dedication to enhancing her skills and knowledge in the field. With her extensive experience and educational background, Maureen is a valuable asset in the insurance and business management sectors.
